We can always feel it in the air — those wonderful seasonal changes. Those changes in seasons bring the time when we need to make those clothing transitions. This is also a great time to clear out the closet and get rid of clothes that are no longer worn. Here are a few tips to help make that transition with ease.

Take all of the season’s clothes and make a decision to either get rid of them or store them for next year. You will now have a clearer picture about what you’ve got to work with.

Determine what clothing pieces you will need. Understanding what you need will ensure that you don’t end up with too many or not enough of the appropriate pieces. There’s nothing worse than having plenty of pants, but no shirts.

Determine the budget. You should do this to avoid overspending. This will also help you make sure you have a sufficient amount of money for all your needs.

Research what the current styles are for the season. Check out television programs, magazines and online sites. This will ensure that you will be choosing this year’s styles — not last year’s.

Research and find sales. You’ve already determined your budget, so you will want to get the biggest bang for your budget buck. Purchasing clothing on sale will usually let you buy more clothing pieces.

Get to the shops early. Not only will you be able to have some of the first choices, you’ll be able to finish your shopping early and go home and enjoy your new purchases.
